Amalgamated Casualty Insurance Company Deploys PCMS Atlas™ System to Streamline All Business Processes

Selection Driven by Functionality, Innovation, Ease-of-Use And Carrier Partnership


DALLAS/WASHINGTON. – May 6, 2013 – Amalgamated Casualty Insurance Company (ACIC), a leading insurance company providing specialty transportation coverage, and PCMS, a leading provider of software and services for the P&C insurance industry, announced today that ACIC has selected and deployed PCMS’ Atlas™ system as its new platform for rating, underwriting, policy administration, billing, claims management and reporting.

ACIC and PCMS implemented the Atlas™ product suite for the company's commercial lines products, followed by rollout of the AgenTree™ product for their independent agencies and consumer portal for insured policy/claim management. In addition, ACIC is already enjoying the benefits of PCMS’ real-time web management tools for the home office, agency and customer.

As part of an effort to strategically transform the company's IT infrastructure and enable more rapid processing of insurance business for policyholders and its agent network, ACIC set out to find a new administration suite. Their exhaustive search pointed to PCMS, which offers a modern platform and comprehensive functionality offered by a company with significant industry expertise and experience in catering to small to mid-sized carriers.
